AMACO V-321 Lilac underglaze is a soft lilac color: light at 1050°C and warmer and deeper at 1200°C. At a temperature of 1300°C, the color begins to burn out (fade). A clear glaze over 'Lilac' brings out the color at 1050°C and 1200°C, but at 1300°C, most of the color burns out. To ensure full coverage, apply 2–3 layers onto greenware or bisque. AMACO 'Velvet' series underglazes are highly pigmented and provide rich colors across a wide firing range.
