UG-203 SQUASH YELLOW UNDERGLAZE

Mayco UG-203 Squash Yellow underglazes, fired at low temperatures, provide a warm yellow color that darkens slightly as the firing temperature increases. The color fades during firing. To ensure full coverage, apply 2–3 layers. To achieve a watercolor effect, dilute the paint with water. Using a clear, matte, or glossy glaze enhances the color intensity. The firing temperature for Mayco Fundamentals series underglazes ranges from 1000°C to 1300°C, but colors may change as the temperature increases.
